About SLK Community Consulting

I founded SLK in 2016 after a long career with Camden County, where I led community outreach, economic development, business attraction, public health initiatives, and large-scale communications. Today, I use that experience to support communities, nonprofits, and business districts across South Jersey.

My background is broad, and that is what makes my work effective and unique. I have managed placemaking projects, downtown revitalization efforts, sustainability programs, public art initiatives, recreation plans, bike and pedestrian safety work, crisis communications, nonprofit fundraising events, and social justice programming. I have worked with kids, families, seniors, veterans, business owners, and community leaders. I understand how to bring people together and build momentum.

I have also worked inside government at a high level. I have coordinated agencies, drafted ordinances, formed and led task forces, managed countywide and regional programs, and led award-winning campaigns. My work in addiction awareness and public health outreach has been recognized regionally and used as a model for other communities.

When a project needs planners, engineers, attorneys, designers, or marketing specialists, I bring in trusted partners. Clients hire me for my leadership, experience, and ability to get things done.
